Good Morning,
I hope I am not duplicating a question, but I would like to have thoughts on
how big of a concrete pad I need for my tower project.
I am putting up a 70 ft self standing aluminum (Universal Tower). Actually,
it is a 70ft model, with one of the sections missing, for a total of 60 ft.
I will wind load it within the manufactures specs, (less than 10 Sq. Ft.)
It is going to be mounted on a tilting base section.
Regular construction in my area requires footings and such to be below the
frost line. That requirement is 42 inches.
I'm also looking for some known tricks in mounting you base section
perfectly level & plumb, so once the tower is attached, it to is level and
plumb.
I am looking forward to you comments.
Have a great day,
Steve Clary
