Maybe check to see if your house has aluminum wiring with copper
pigtails at the wall sockets and switches. Was quite common in the
1970's or so and the wire nuts on the pigtails need to be tightened
from time to time. GL Alan NV8A (ex. AB2OS) wrote: What voltage does the meter show "upstream," e.g., at the main breaker or at the breaker feeding this particular circuit? There could be a high-resistance connection somewhere -- and it could be either in the hot or in the neutral. -- __________________________________________________________________________ Alan Zack Amateur Radio Station K7ACZ Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Quality Engineer, The Boeing Company, Retired Aviation Chief Warrant Officer, U.S. Coast Guard, Retired U.S. Coast Guard, Always Ready, Always There Every hour, Every day, Around the Clock and Around the World SEMPER PARATUS http://www.gocoastguard.com http://www.uscg.mil/d14/units/asbp/uscgasbp/ DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
