Hmm, it'd be pretty tricky. These are LOOOOONG elements and wrestling
them into their mechanism from one end of the element is tough. One person up
in
the air just doesn't have much leverage.
You might be able to do it from a manbasket at the end of a crane
haul-line. The crane can be in the street or driveway and just lift everything
-
including you - up to where it needs to go. Some manbaskets will hold two guys
-
very handy for this type of operation.
Another option would be to rent a lift. There are scissor lifts that can
go up quite a ways. Since you only have to be next to the boom, you might have
enough room do it. You drive it into the yard next to the tower and go to
work. As long as your ground is reasonably level, it's pretty easy.
Another lift you can rent is a knuckle-type lift. It has an articulating
arm and you drive it around too.
Some guys use an antenna mount that pivots. That way you can tip the boom
so that it's vertical and you can put the elements on from down the tower.
This is a 200 pound antenna so this might take some tricky rigging.
You know what they say - where there's a will, there's an inheritance
tax. Oops, I really meant where there's a will there's a way so somewhere
there's
a technique that'll work for you.
