Is there a version of these PL259 crimp-on connectors available that
will fit 75 ohm TV cable? The most common size cable has an OD of about
0.28 (0.2 with the outer jacket removed) and a center diameter including
the insulation of about 0.18. This is larger than RG58 or RG59 but
smaller than RG8. This cable can be obtained for free and it is nice for
things like receiving antennas. I currently have a receiving antenna
project under way that will uses about 1000 ft of this stuff and an easy
way to connect PL259s would be very useful.
