Found discussion regarding crimp attachment of PL-259
connectors interesting. Even though my frugal nature
is telling me I should use up the bucket of new and
salvaged PL259s I already have prior to investing in a
new tools etc.
Question; The Talley Communications catalog
( www.talleycom.com ) shows a "Heavy Duty Crimp Tool"
mfg by "Antenex", model # CCT213 for Cables Types;
RG8, RG213, LMR400 & 9913 at about half the price as
the same set up from RF Industries. Has anyone had
experience (good or bad)with this tool ? ?
