I know there is a whole bunch of interest, and a lot of opinions on remote
operation of an amateur radio station. What I am proposing, is starting of a
separate reflector, just for this subject.
I have been an active remotely controlled station for a couple of years now,
and would really like to share my experiences, pitfalls, successes, etc.
I do normal operation, contesting, dx chasing, etc.
I would like to throw this out there, and please let me know what the
reflector should be called, we need a good name and I am open to all
possibilities. If there is enough interest and maybe a volunteer to help, I
will start one up.
Thanks for your time and help me come up with a name that really conveys
that it is remote operation of an amateur radio station.
