I purchased and read your test results... and was impressed by the
testing protocol and thoughtful approach to the pragmatic problems
involved. Makes for fine reading and inspires one to analyze its
results.

I thought the test protocol called for a large vertical mono pole as
a "Reference Antenna" - not a dipole...
Also, Is it reasonable to conclude the "Reference Antenna" is pretty
much the best overall average performer? I mean... considering the
results, it appears some verticals tested performed a bit better at
times, and a bit weaker at times, compared to the Reference Antenna,
but that the Reference Antenna comported itself with due aplomb,
and was a pretty good performer overall, and there were only minor,.
small measured differences in performances compared to the the
verticals in the test group.
That would mean that a large monopole with a tuner might work pretty
well compared to the test group? Eh? I am thinking the results support
the conclusion that the Reference Antenna was, itself, a pretty good
performer on balance. Is this correct?
