Brian, Call FAIR RITE TORROIDS.  They have some product(s) that can help but
patience is required to get it right.  Also take a look at this link. You
will want to get the cores that are specific to your needs. The high
permeability units appear to work better.

I can speak first hand to this issue, as being an off-grid home, my  
trace/xantrex inverter is a reliable and constant noise source from  
1.7-2.5 MHz.

Still working on a solution....
