If the drawings ask for 5000 psi you have to use 5000 psi. If it asks for 3500 
psi you will get a "better/stronger" base but I don't think there are any 
benefits to it. Is the price the same?

Im about to pour 16 yards of concrete for an HDX-689.  Are there any real 
benefits to using 5000 psi vs 3500 psi concrete?
