Use whatever the specs call for....no need to over-engineer.
 
BTW, I just poured only 5 yards of 4000 psi today.  I took
the advice of several posts on this reflector and rented a
CONCRETE VIBRATOR.  It sure made the job a lot easier.
Instructions for using a tool like that are on the web...Google.
