The MA-40 is rated at 10 sq. feet in 50 mph winds. This criteria should be 
carefully considered with respect to antenna and rotor. Good luck in your 
quest. BTW, the T2X ix rated at 20 sq. feet which is more than adequate and the 
Green Heron box rocks!

You are correct that the Steppir  puts more torque on the rotor and mast. I 
think any of the rotors you mention will work for your 3el. But they should 
be controlled by a Green Heron control box with the ramp-up and ramp-down 
feature, it makes it very smooth.
