On my US Tower HDX-589, I use stainless steel hose clamps to attach large diameter copper cable to the diagonal bracing close to the bottom where diagonal connects to each tower leg. There is no problem with 2nd section clearance because inside edge of diagonal bracing has sufficient clearance from inside edge of tower leg. Don't forget that copper strap or wire should only contact stainless clamp and not galvanized tower metal.
