I also love the OWA designs and flat SWR. All of my homebrew antenna are
designed this way.

My 15m boom is 3" diameter x .125 wall. Perhaps M2 makes a heavy duty
version?

Hi Gary

As Bill K4XS say, the 15M6DX boom is not strong, is just .065 wall and
really not good for a 44ft boom.

My boom 15M6 boom broken in half where the clamps support it to the mast to
boom plate, caused but strong winds and vibration.

Then I bought the HD boom and the antenna looks very well.

Maybe you can add just a tube over it in the section that will be attached
to the tower.

I have 15 mts and 20 mts M2 yagi´s. This were my first monobands yagi. After

that I purchased antennas from G0KSC, the actual owner of Force12, and I
really love this flat SWR antennas! Once you operate with a flat SWR
antenna across the ENTIRE band, you will want to have always this kind of
antennas
