My FD antenna is a homebrew 40' tilt-up/rotatable mast,
made with 1-1/4" Schedule 40 pipe. It uses 1-1/2" floor
flanges as rotating guy collars at the 20' and 35' levels.
The top guyset serves double-duty as 80m and 40m
inverted vees.

It supports a triband trap yagi (Cushcraft A3S). Since
the mast rotates (using the Arm Strong rotator), and the
rig runs on 12VDC, there's no need for an AC generator
or inverter.

A falling derrick is used to tilt it up/down. Some light
welding is required. A video clip of it being tilted down
after FD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsgizeagAQw
