> Asking for some assistance with a tower issue...
I'm involved with some folks in building a station in PJ4. One of the
first tower bases was accidently set in concrete in a position that it is
rotated 5 to 10 degrees from its correct position in relation to the guy
anchors. I'm hoping that there might be a good suggestion or two as to what
might
be a good fix or work-around.

concrete. The plan is to have the tower built up to 140 feet, with guys at 40,
80,
and 120 feet.

Hiya, Rich --
Bummer, dude.
Yes, the torque will cause the tower to be pulled in one direction.
AB-105 is a danged brute tower so it'll take a fair amount of abuse. Is it a
fatal problem? My vote is no.
> Should we consider some kind of adaptor plate for the guy brackets to
correct the situation?
That's a thought but in the past I have used an equalizing cable
strung between each face level where the guy is attached. You then attach the
guy wire to the cable and it'll automatically equalize itself to the proper
orientation. SS cable and a bunch of compression fittings will make it
pretty straightforward. A little more farting around but it should work FB.
I'm not an engineer just a tower installer.
