Not good.  Would the owners homeowner insurance cover this?

Sadly it sounds like the climber was using outdated and poorly maintained gear.

ANNOUNCE - Terrible Tower Accident

This is an update on my older brother AA9TJ who fell from my tower 45 to 50
feet down to the ground. He went to local hospital air flighted to Deaconess
in IN had some surgeries and now was air flighted back across the state of
IL to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Broken leg, lacerated Liver,
Lacerated Diaphragm, Punctured lung, neck injury, back injuries/pelvis
