No worries.  Ward and I are beer drinking buddies and abuse each other regularly.  The joke is more like I have a different perspective and different priorities than many other people, and I enjoy sharing.

Not a FLAME. But You would likely benefit from reading the k7lxc N0ax

there are A lot newer tribanders I would like to see them test on their

not fare all that well. I had a TH6, a TH3 , TH7 and a classic ta33 all of

Pretty well..........in their day. My th-3 is still a good FIELD DAY antenna and
great as a mult antenna to grab south American mults so I don’t have to
rotate the c31.

You turd :-)

I have a Classic 33 Tribander and I am still trying to figure out why anyone
would put up something bigger. It seems to work everything I call on it, and
that makes me satisfied. Maybe I should go lay in the yard too.

I took a quick look at the publications on the championradio.com page and have
a question. It seems the books were published a few years ago.

While the design theory has not changed, materials and workmanship may have. My
recent experience with Mosley left me a little concerned about the performance
of the end product, in my case a new RV-7C vertical.

Am I mistaken or did I miss a revision date?

Since I may be acting like a turd, I will now go lay in the yard.

Howdy, TowerTalkians -

? ? Tnx for your identification of the aforementioned QST cover
antennas. I was on the right track anyway - hi.?? ? The good news?
The F12 C31XR is a terrific antenna. The bad news? The Mosley PRO
series antennas are LOSERS. If you don't believe me, get a copy of
our exclusive on-the-air yagi antenna test (available from
championradio.com) and see for yourself. One of the PRO antennas we
tested had negative gain on one band. Hard to believe the antenna's
owner hasn't noticed the difference himself since they're installed
in close proximity for instant comparison. Or maybe he has.??? ? Now
back to regularly scheduled programming.??Cheers,Steve? ? ?K7LXC

Steve,
Thanks for sharing the info on the test results book. I hadn't seen that and I
will pick one up since I have a C31XR (will likely buy a 2nd when my tower
project moves forward). Along the way I acquired a NOS Pro-67 real cheap and I
was thinking of putting it up on a separate tower and leaving pointed towards
SA/Carib. I might still do that since I already have it, but will read those
results before I decide.
