Why not buy the 902 model, and if you need to work someone on 903, just shift the IF radio up a megahertz? I would'nt think that there would be any bandwidth issues with either a 28 or 144 MHz IF.

Different areas of the country seem to use different frequencies as the calling frequency. In this area (Illinois - Midwest) we use 903.100. Other areas of the country use 902.100. Best find out what others are using in your area.
