So if I load JT-65 software I'll magically get contacts with places I 
can not reach via propagation?

I don't think so.

This post sounds more like sour grapes than well thought out.

If the band's not open, JT-65 won't get me the East or West Coast from 
DM79, I'll guarantee it.
