Alert the VHF Gang. The Gods of Disaster seem to be out in full force, at
least here in EM63. Hopefully their influence will not be felt outside this
grid square.

First, a client has an urgent need to document some events this weekend. So
we're going to be out of town and shooting rather than operating. If you
have a sked with N1LF--please consider it cancelled.

Second, my laptop hard drive crashed in the middle of a busy production
cycle at work. While the data is backed up, purchasing a new laptop,
restoring the data, and getting back up is a time consuming process.

So, it looks like N1LF/R will be operating out of the East Tennessee area,
and time for contacts will be very limited. I'll likely run just the dual
KU4AB loops and a whip on 6M. Look for us on 6M, 2M, and 432. I'll bring the
222 MHz FM HT, but unless we're close, don't expect to work us on the best
band of all.

I'm really disappointed, as I've been looking forward to this contest for
months. But we'll try to make the best of it, and hand out some contacts in
the East TN area or on our way home on Sunday. Sorry guys!

73,

Les Rayburn, N1LF/R
EM63
