I dont think a move is likely with all the other contests out there.
And I dont think a date change would have any affect out here in the
SF Bay Area. There just is not much interest in VHF contests any more
(out here). We are lucky to get a good turn out even in June. If one
does consider a change one has to be careful it does not land on
another contest (that may be impossible). Though already this contest
is on the same weekend as one of the the NAQP contests, which saw much
much more activity.
People are not getting on out here, not because of the football games,
but because they just dont care about VHF contests.
Sad.
