Jim
I run Writelog 10.32E and a Kenwood TS-950SDX during the CW-WPX contest
(2300 Q's) and the ANARTS RTTY contest this weekend (450 Q's) with no
problems . I also run a TS-870 in position 2 (SO2R) . The TS-870 updates
more quickly than the 950 for reasons I don't understand but not to the
point that it affects transmitted signals. Send me a private email and
I'll send you a phone number or we can make a sked to compare other aspects
of our respective setups. I no longer use a IF-232, I use the N6TR simple
5v zener diode and resistor trick, but I have experimented with both and
can see no difference in the polling rate.
As I sit here thinking about it your problem sounds more like RF problems,
go buy a box of clip on ferrites for your computer I/O especially the
keyboard and mouse.
