[WriteLog] Writelog and Icom rig / IC-2KL Combo

Is anyone using an Icom rig with the IC-2KL amp?  If you are how do you
handle rig control.  After doing some research I'm under the impression that
the serial connection on the back of my 756pro will go to the IC-2KL for
autoband changing.

If thats the case how does one connect the rig to the computer?  Is the
expensive Icom serial interface needed?
