Thanks for all who replied. I now know that Writelog does not generate a
sidetone or a sound. I appreciate the comments.
Opinion: I think it would be a nice feature if it could be turned on or off.
and if the tone could be varied. I do not think that today's computers with
all thier computing power would have any trouble doing this because of
computing power. That would be miniscule on just about any system that can run
Windows 98/2000 or XP
