I hadn't realized it, but almost all Notebooks support dual video; I had always
toggled between the
LCD and external video, or both, but never realized the external was separate
and could support a
second monitor, until I saw a "User-to-User Solution" in PC Magazine.
Click on Desktop, choose Properties, to open the Display Properties, then
choose Settings tab. If
your notebook supports two monitors, you can right click on the second one to
click Enable.
Also see there's a check in "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor",
choose Apply, and,
according to the note, your desktop will take advantage of the additional
screen real estate.
Hope this is useful to someone. I'll play with it later, myself.
