Jerry - I don't think so. Mike just started using Writelog, so he probably
wasn't here for those discussions.
Regarding the number pad use, the default of 10.45 has the 7 and 1 keys doing
things that it probably should not default to, and I think Wayne commented that
he will correct the default in a subsequent release.
To fix it now, open Tools, Keyboard Shortcuts, and find the entries for the 1
and 7 keys, and remove them. The numeric keypad will then be back to normal.
I would also like to know the answers to Mike's other questions.
Regarding the bandmap, I am most curious as to why partial calls are placed
there instead of it only being when you actually log a callsign. The behavior
I see is that for example, I hear K5NZ calling CQ, and only type K5N as I'm not
sure of the last letter. I hit F4 to send my call, and K5N goes into the
bandmap? Why does this happen? Can I shut this off? I end up with both K5N
and K5NZ in the bandmap after actually logging K5NZ. Talk about clutter!
