As a new user(2weeks) i had the same problem with the keying
and this is how i solved the problem.
My cable on com 3 has 2 optocouplers TIL119 on
both DTR and RTS lines.
This is for DX4WIN CW and PTT control.
I had the same problem with CW on the RTS line
and switching to DTR solved it.
Using RTS shows the same symptoms you have,
and remember to choose PC GENERATES in the ports menu
and PTT to CW delay 50ms
I also noticed when you select the port which is used for
transceiver control you get the same problem.
Seems like you have a small soldering job!
