In this month QST there is an article called "Automating the Ameriton RCS-10
Remote Antenna Switch".
The circuit looks simple enough even for me to build. I already have the
RCS-10.
Here is my questions:
1. I am using a desktop with VISTA Home Premium 32 bit.
2. I have a VScom 4 comport - one printer port card installed and working fine.
3. I am using Writelog 10.87E.
4. In WL, the setup for the Antenna Relays LPT ports are grayed out. So I
can't use them.
5. Has anyone been able to use the printer port for this? I have tried
Direct-IO but it does not support VISTA.
6. I don't think a USB-LPT adapter would do any better then the port on the
add-in card.
Any help would be appreciated.
