[WriteLog] keyboard shortcut

I'm trying to set up a couple of keyboard shortcut that I used to use in 
previous versions. Version I'm using now is 10.91B

I've set up and saved:

[   (Open-Square) is set to BandsBandDownRetainCall
]   (Close-Square) is set to BandsBandUpRetainCall

Pressing either key makes nothing happen - bands do not change in either 
direction.

I use \ as EntryMakeASked and that works fine.... Any suggestions?
