Hello all....I am still experiencing this issue whereby my pk232 will not
initialize while
trying to open a clone receive window in writelog. My set up has worked
perfectly
for years until a few weeks ago. Now writelog tells me that intializing the
pk232 (in host mode)
has failed. I have tried to manually put the pk232 into host mode but it
doesnt make a
difference to writelog. I have had people suggest my lithium battery may be
on the way out.
I measured the voltage on it and it reads an even 3 volts ( dont know what a
good one should read?).
Where can I get a replacement for it?? Mine appears to be soldered in
standing on edge between
a couple of tabs that look like book ends. You cant just pop out the battery
and squeeze another one in.
Any other suggestions or ideas to try?? Can someone who writes the writelog
program tell me
what the failure to intialize is actually trying to do or what its looking
for before it fails!
