After my reply to Jerry below regarding the Volta contest module I was checking my WL installation on an old net book computer running XP. I have WL V11.11C installed and it seems to run ok, but...

I just discovered that I apparently do not have the SM6SRW third party modules installed on this machine. So I downloaded the WLCM_SM6SRW_050110.exe file and tried to install it using the WL Legacy Installer Helper. The result was an error message stating that the Legacy Installer Helper failed to launch. I've also just discovered that there is no Program Data folder like there is on my Vista laptop. Somehow that folder never got created way back when and now I cannot remember the steps that were needed when V10.78 came out and the data file locations were revised. Anyone know what I need to do now to get the XP net book machine squared away and up to current status?

Jerry,

What contest module did you use for the Volta contest? If you have installed the SM6SRW modules for WL you have a Volta Contest module available. It is the first one in the list of contest modules - A. Volta. If you scrolled down to the bottom of the list looking for Volta Contest you missed it. If you don't have the SM6SRW package installed go to the WL downloads/third-party page and and download "WLCM_SM6SRW_050110.exe". If you're running WL V10.77 or later use the WL Legacy Installer Helper application in the WriteLog programs group to do the install.

Then start a new log using the A. Volta module and import the adi file from the other module you used for the contest into the Volta module. Go to Parameter setup and enter your zone number then do a Export/Cabrillo - the Volta module has a Cabrillo export built in, no need to use the adif2cabr converter.

How do I get a Cabrillo file for the Volta contest?

I thought I could use ADIF2CABR but I am not getting the two Zone fields nor the Points field that they want.

I see I misread the call area points thing. I passed up lots of "w4" stations while working "w6" because I am in Virginia using "w6ihg/4"

I find no place in Writelog to enter my Zone?
