The same cables are not used for FT-5000 and FT-920.

WriteLog and microHAM Router need to be configured for each computer.
Data rates and other CAT (menu) parameters *in the rig* are different
for the FT-5000 and FT-920.

Thing is - I use the same cables as before, it has worked before on
other radios (FT-920) and the same cable work from my desktop, but not
my laptop.

See the example configuration for WriteLog and your microHAM interface
available in Router (Help | Download Documents) or in the section for
your interface on-line at www.microHAM-USA.com/support.html.

If you have USB Interface II, USB Interface III, CW Keyer, Digikeyer
or Digikeyer II, make sure you have set the jumpers for the correct
levels (RS-232) as shown in the appropriate Users Manual.

Hi
Trying to prepare for CQWW-CW and can not get my rig control to work
with my laptop and Writelog v11.
I use a USB keyer from Microham and have created COM port 1 and 2.

Use Com 1 for rig control and Com 2 for CW.

Set the rig in writelog for FTDX-5000.

CW transmit is working and I switched CW transmit between both port 1
and port 2 so ports are working - problem is, I do not get Writelog and
FTDX-5000 to speak to eachother with the CAT.

Any advice is most welcome.
