Clarification on what the contest robot does ...

It does not "correct" a prefix conversion and it does not "adjust" your
score. The robot simply checks for format errors referenced to the Cabrillo
standard.

The log checking software processes the proper Cabrillo formatted log file.
It uses the latest cty.dat and therefore gets all the prefixes correctly
identified and calculates both a raw score (before log check reductions) and
a final score.

Whatever your logging software says is irrelevant and not included in the
Cabrillo file anyway. Just the basic QSO data and whatever info is in the
Cabrillo file header. Any claimed score in the Cabrillo header is ignored
and whatever your logger says about multiplier, countries, score, etc. is
not in the Cabrillo file.

Folks should open their Cabrillo log files with a simple text editor, e.g.,
Notepad, and familiarize themselves with what is there, and not there. In
fact, if you do this before submitting it is easy to spot gross errors.

Finally, for the CQ WW and WPX contests, be sure to use the Log Check page
on the respective websites. Log Check will find all the Cabrillo format
errors and explain them to you in more understandable terms than the direct
robot. Plus, you save the hassle of multiple robot email cycles. Log Check
gives immediate feedback on specific issues, you fix then and re-run Log
Check. Once it is happy, there is a button that automatically emails the
log to the robot for you. Everything is done on that one user-friendly
webpage and no emailing is done directly by the user.

TO2A maps correctly for me. Apparently your CTY file is out of date. As
Randy noted the other day to fix this manually find TO2A in your log and
click on the "?" showing on that line. Then edit the field and enter FY.
This should properly identify the contact and give you score credit. Even
if you don't correct it yourself, the contest robot will and your score will

be adjusted to include the French Guiana contact.
