[WriteLog] RTTY digi lower or upper

I have just come back to RTTY and am using my Flex 6700 or the  6500 in the 
last 2 DL contests.
But I have been using digiU, and it works perfectly, so why has RTTY used lower 
sideband  and actually does it really matter
which sideband is being used.?
As a matter of interest I use FLdidgi and MMTTY at 2125hz.
