Typically I believe WriteLog has all its settings in the windows registry.
You can save these settings to a INI file which is stored on your hard
drive. If things get jumbled you can import the settings from the INI file
stored on your hard drive. Here is some information concerning that:

this deals with saving of different windows for writelog
recently there was short power blip and one of the screens turned off
windows rearranged all writelog windows to one screen....
something like that
writelog probably wrote all new (undesired) window locations into the
registry and at that point, hosed.
is there anyway to save screen layout
such that the window locations can be recalled when such an event occurs
Took 30 minutes to get all windows back like they were
