I never buy new cars but would pay at least $100. for
a service that implemented a genuine RFI quieting
package to a used car.
If I were to buy a $10,000+ new vehicle I'd hardly
blink at adding $100. or a little more to the loan
if it meant the absence of RFI hassles later.
I am guessing that Hams are not the only people
suffering the ill effects -- we are just the only
ones who recognize the source of problems -- there
are likely mobile noise problems with stereos,
cellphones, business radios, etc that people do
not recognize and vehicle-caused.
Auto manufacturers are you listening?
