In recent times, interference to the TV itself is not nearly as common as
interference
to the audio system. TV sets seem to have gotten better (more robust with
respect to
RFI), but the audio/video equipment that may be hooked up to the set to provide
improved
sound quality are FAR more likely to receive interference. Interference is
often picked
up on loudspeaker wiring, coax from the roof antenna or cable/DTV system, and
audio
hookup wiring.

See http://audiosystemsgroup.com/RFI-Ham.pdf for details of causes and
solutions.
