I should have been explicit: the type 73 or 77 (I forget) toroids I cited
earlier are those I bought FROM Amidon long ago... and "long ago" means some
17 years ago when it was commonly recommended to buy type 73 or 77 for HF
use. This was, presumably, long before #31 was produced.
