What would you recommend for 19 volt items (laptops, intel NUC, monitors, other

I've owned a bunch of Thinkpads over the years, and their supplies tend to be fairly quiet. When I've retired the machines, I've kept the supplies and use them for these sorts of applications. Between the XYL and me we have four of them. I routinely wind both AC and DC power cables through ferrite cores. Their current loaded Thinkpads use supplies rated for 4-5A at 20V. Older T2x -T4x series are 16VDC.

My guess is that both can be found on EBay for not a lot of money. Just make sure that it's a real Lenovo or IBM supply -- I wouldn't count on after-market supplies being quiet.
