I have had ones like that here off and on. Usually traced to pole guy wires
that had loose or corroded connection to the pole ground. The utility here has
started adding a 5' or so insulating section at the top of guy wires whenever
they work on a pole. This moves the metallic part of the guy farther from the
hv wires which should reduce induced voltages on them.

A (probably) dumb question: I have a severe line noise to my west. For some
reason it is manageable on 20, much worse on 15 and crippling on 10. These
subjective descriptions are confirmed on my S-meter. Why would this be
happening, and does it offer any helpful clues to finding the source?
