I don't think we can ever say enough good things about the ops at ZL7DK and
N6MZ/KH9. They listen...and listen...and listen, trying to pull calls out
from the morass. This AM I was fortunate enough to work KH9 and the op
called...and called...and called again because some $#@%*& K3 kept on
calling on top of me. Eventually I got a confirm. Of course I am
delighted, both with the new one and with the fact that the KH9 op didn't
abandon me in my hour of need!
I just wish more stations this side would listen MORE before endlessly
transmitting. It sure would make life a lot easier on the DX. Perhaps some
of these people are not hearing the DX well enough and are just calling
blindly and hoping....
It certainly has been a great season with all the new Pacific DX available.
Perhaps El Nino hath its good side after all (though the people in Ca and
Fla could dispute this).
