     And they're already pre-wired! All you have to do is connect one end to
the terminal strip and splice the other end to the end of the control cable.
No pins to solder and really simple. TOWER TECH has an 8-wire version for
eight bucks. The connectors are polarized so you can't plug them together
wrong.

    You still need to weatherproof the joint. Because of their large and
irregular shape, you should double tape it with Scotch 33 or 88 and then coat
it with Liquid Electrical Tape or other barrier material.

    BTW, Liquid Electrical Tape is fabulous for applying directly on exposed
terminal strips. It has a built-in brush and is UV resistant. It can be
applied to irregularly shaped objects like connector joints or terminal
strips. It can also be used to fill the top of the pigtail that is connected
to the terminal strip to prevent water from running down and into the cable.
It's $7.50 for a 4 oz. jar.
