I based the price on a price from MFJ catalogue and a quick calculation by
thumb. Most of the hams here just double the US cost for approximate
landed cost.
I shall do one a little more carefully. From the MFJ 2002
catalogue, MFJ269 US$359.95 + battery and coils US$54.85 plus S&H
US$20.00 = US$434.80 Exchange, now better than you quoted (for me not
you), US$434.80 * CA$157.86 / US$100 = CA$686.33. Now seeing that it is
for experimental radio work and research, no duty. However, there is a
Poke and Screw Tax (Provincial Sales Tax) and a Gouge and Screw Tax
(federal Goods and Service Tax) at 7.5% plus 7%. So to the $686.33 add
$99.52 to total CA$785.85.
