I would like to thank all who took the time to supply me with details
of Glen Martin Engineering and the "Hazer", also those who described in
detail, how they were able to cope with maintenance and very tall
towers. All very interesting, with some ingenious solutions. The results
obtained by those fortunate people, certainly makes hams, like me, with
limited space for antennas, drool with envy.

Personally, I have a modest set up, but still better than many in the
UK, which uses a single 60 foot, self supporting crank up, and tilt over
tower, made by Strumech, a UK manufacturer. Maintenance of the yagi and
rotor etc. being very easy. If I had sufficient space, then my dream
would be to buy the 120 foot version of the same tower, again crank up,
tilt over, by Strumech, but it does require guying, when fully extended.

Thank you all once again, and may I take the opportunity of wishing
every one, a happy Christmas, and a peaceful New Year, sincerely, John.
G3JVC.
