I agree with Con. In my old QTH in north Texas I had room for only two
radials snaked in my lawn irrigation trenches. Down here I have 32.
With the same shunt loaded tower I was able to make 160 DXCC up there. The
larger number is better, but go with what you can manage and enjoy working
the DX.
