Bob said he doesn't want to spend any money on this, doesn't want to leave a
section behind when he moves, and he is only talking about 29.5 feet of tower.

I suggest he mosey out at night, pull up three steel "T" posts from a nearby
farmers fence, bring them home and drive these into the ground for a base,
leaving about 18 inches sticking out of the ground. Next, use a couple of
muffler clamps to secure each of the 3 tower legs to the T-posts. The muffler
camps can be acquired at no cost through the Midnight Auto Supply in the next
town over.

That's the only way I know how to meet his last requirement of spending no
money on this project.

BTW, I'm holding up the end of my 80m sloper using this method. But fortunate
for me, I already had a pile of T-posts and a drawer full of muffler clamps.

That base plate would probably work fine business but I imagine it would cost
more than the 3ft- 4in short base section at $63 (list price).

Contact Norms Fab have him make you a base plate out of Stainless steel with
center spike make of 2x2x.125wall for the center spike to bury down in some
rock. make the this center plate able to tilt over also.

I need to be able to effectively and safely improvise a way to mount my Rohn
25 tower sections two regular 10' sections one top
section 9.5' to the ground.

Does anyone have any ideas other than buying a short piece of tower to put in
the ground or a swivel base or buying another section,
ect.

I was just going to stick 3 feet of the bottom section of the tower in the
hole (concrete) but, since it is so short already, really
didn't want to leave it there should we move.

Is there no other way than spending more money on it?
