The NQN filters are much better.  They do not have nearly the loss of the
Ice filters and are much beefier!  You get what you pay for.  I have a
couple of ICE 419's and they work ok.  I still have issues with 20 and 40 as
those antennas are 15 ft apart.  I have a 40m harmonic filter too.

You do need something though.  I think the ICE or Dunestars are about equal.
