I've used the tow truck boom method with a US Tower TX-472MDLP (~1300lb).
Worked like a charm. The tow truck extended the boom into the back of the
box truck that delivered the tower, swung it around and lowered it
horozontally onto the base and I inserted the two pivot bolts. Once my
rotor, mast and antenna were installed, I used the raising fixture to lift
the tower to it's vertical position.
