I can't comment on the Steppir dipole but I have an old KLM 40 meter rotary 
dipole at 50 feet with a big airwound coax balun at feedpoint and it makes 
the difference between no or hard copy and easy copy on many many signals 
both stateside and DX . The deep nulls off end really help in my noisy 
location , especially a neighbor with a 5KW horizontal oscillator in 
whatever he is using .

Turns out its not too shabby on 17 meters either .

I was quite surprised when I put it up , was not expecting that much change 
as it was rotated.
