I recently purchased a Green Heron RT-21 controller and am very happy
with it. I'm curious about using the Ramp option with it, The manual
says that they have found it doesn't work well with the T2X rotor,
stating that "T2X rotors exhibited the least effective speed control." I
tried it on mine and it sounds a bot odd -- the PWM probably runs at
about 4 or 5 Hz, but it really does affect th overall speed.
The PWM simply turns the motor on and off in short bursts and I wonder
if this causes even more gear train problems. Does anyone have
experiences playing with this on a T2X? WIll it help extend the life of
the rotor or is it no help in that regard?
